  • My preferred mode of listening is to CDs while I'm driving in my car. At home I do sometimes listen to old vinyl but I don't buy vinyl anymore.

  • Thanks for dropping a line. As for me, I have stored my CDs in the attic and copied them in a few iPods. I prefer to buy new and used vinyls, I like re-editions. I never download music available commercially, and will only download things I cannot find on vinyl, like rare brazilian stuff. I'm a good guy 😉 I get 10 brownie points. I never got around streaming, what they give to artists pisses me off.

  • I don't buy any records in any format anymore. With a collection of 500 or more vinyls and several hundreds of CDs as well of some 200 MCs and reel-to-reel tapes, my house is getting too small to increase the numbers. If I wanted to listen to all of it again, I either wouldn't probably live long enough or couldn't do anything else. There are a few hundreds of books around, too.

Sold off1000s of LPs after they gathered dust for 20 yrs and have become a format philistine: MP3s are the easiest thing to use for programming. For actual listening it's MP3s or WAV files funneled thru a DAC & into an old Class A amp or Live365 thru the amp. Love that Jazzinho!
